Uni Kaya Art & Medicine Retreat
October 17th-27th 2026
About the Retreat
A 11-day immersion in sacred ceremony, visionary art, and deep jungle connection.
Held in collaboration with the Jochipapanete Shipibo family, this retreat weaves together traditional ayahuasca healing and guided painting sessions centered around the Sacred Tree—a symbol of rooted wisdom and inner vision.
Through 4 ceremonies, plant baths, meditation, and daily art practice, we’ll explore the meeting point of creativity and spirit. No previous art experience is needed—just an open heart and willingness to connect.
“Every brushstroke a prayer. Every tree a teacher.”

Facilitator – Uni Kaya
Tattooer, visionary artist, and ayahuasca facilitator, Uni began working with the medicine in 2014 and apprenticed with Maestro Don Enrique Lopez in 2018. He has studied with renowned artists such as Amanda Sage, Mauro Reategui Perez, Autumn Skye, Alex & Allyson Grey, and learned Tibetan Thangka painting in Dharamshala.
Since 2014, Uni has shared a close bond with the Jochipapanete family and co-created the first Art & Medicine Retreat with them in 2022. This gathering continues that tradition in deep respect for the Shipibo lineage and ancestral healing arts.
